Introducing the Starforge Systems x OSRS collaboration keyboard! This labor-of-love project comes after months and months of hard work and collaboration between our team as well as the team over at Jagex all enabled by the wonderful folks at Ducky using the ProjectD Tinker 75 frame.
Every gamer has that moment: That feeling of creating an account for the very first time. For some of us this moment is defining, even stressful. Gamer tag, callsign, username - whatever you want to call it - for many gamers this string of characters is something that we don't go back on. It's a decision we make and we stick to it for the rest of our lives. Of course, it can come with heartbreak: when we realize what we wanted to call ourselves is already taken by someone else. Even if we settle for a randomized username offered by the game, we always remember our first account.
I distinctly remember the paralysis that came with trying to figure out what I wanted to be known as when I first logged into RuneScape. IceMaster810 certainly wasn't the name that I thought would fit me best, but the excitement of logging in listening to the 8-bit music was overwhelming. I wanted nothing more than to create an account login and start playing.
Even though I didn't keep the username that RuneScape suggested for me, I still remember the eagerness in my 8-year-old fingers as I typed it out along with my password on some ancient membrane keyboard. It's one of the first things I can remember being burned into muscle memory: how every keystroke led into the next until I was ready to log in.
When that membrane keyboard finally started to fail, I remember the frustration that came with trying to troubleshoot why it was that I couldn't log in. The fact that my password was case-sensitive and the Shift keys were both toast was enough to keep me from playing RuneScape for the better part of a week. Not very long in hindsight, but a lifetime to a 3rd grader. Opening up that new keyboard felt like a new lease on life. The game that I had been fixated on for months was waiting for me and all I had to do was sign in.
It's been a long time since I've logged in as IceMaster810. What I remember as The World of RuneScape is now OSRS. There are so many new features, instances, dungeons, items; the game has changed. But one thing that hasn't changed is that feeling of logging in. Whether it's the first time or the thousandth, that slow swell in the music before synthesized horns start to play is something anyone who has played Old School RuneScape has fallen in love with. For anyone who first started playing the game decades ago, there's not much more magically nostalgic.
After twenty-five years, RuneScape is still going strong, with new players signing up every day. Whether they've already got the same gamertag that they've been using on other titles or have to find a new title to be known by, they're going to have to log the same way that we all do:
With a keyboard.
Starforge Systems is honored to be launching its very first keyboard and keycap set. In collaboration with Old School RuneScape and Ducky, we're thrilled to be offering a custom-colored Tinker75 with some truly remarkably designed elements. This 83-key keyboard is perfect for anyone who has ever ventured into Gielinor. From its very inception this keyboard is something that the team at Starforge has been pouring countless hours of passion into. With hundreds of thousands of monthly players and millions upon millions of people who have played at one time or another, developing this product to be all that it can be has truly made it a labor of love.

Starforge x OSRS Ducky Tinker 75 Keyboard - $169.99
Color matching is something that sounds relatively easy in theory, but the reality of getting the exact shades from a render on a finished product is rather difficult. The three-tones of keys used in our OSRS keyboard aren’t terribly far from colors we’ve used on cases in the past, but the difference between materials can drastically change the way that a color might look. Thankfully, the team at Ducky has worked in IPs like this before and was quick to iterate to a product that wears the reds and browns that make up the base and keycaps brilliantly. Pair that with the printings on each key and you have a keyboard that truly feels right out of The World of RuneScape. This dye-sublimation process not only creates uniformity in color, but improves the keys’ lifespan and prevents fading from use.
As any keen-eyed observer might notice, the majority of keys feature characters in the iconic Runescape UF font. Little details matter and having the characters on these keycaps match the in-game font is something we felt was essential to creating an immersive product. What’s more is that many of the supplemental keys have images from the game itself. Because these keys are swappable and identical in shape, gamers have an incredible number of options with how these keys are ordered.

Old School RuneScape Keycap Set - $89.99
Though they’re a small part of the overall keyboard, these keycaps, designed to emulate the in-game menu’s interface, are another detail that took extensive work. The assets from the game, while iconic, were admittedly a bit lower resolution than the printers used for the keycaps themselves. The initial results were pixelated and nowhere near as appealing as the final product. To get to the version we have for sale today, we worked with the original art team to recreate the menu icons at a size that works for 2026 printers. Without their help in recreating these assets, the OSRS Keyboard simply wouldn’t have the character that many fans of the franchise crave. The finished product has a row of crisp images decorating the function keys at the top of the keyboard.
Selecting the right switches for a keyboard is a major decision, and one that we continued to work on until the very final stages of creating this product. We’re proud to offer linear red switches with the OSRS keyboard – as well as all future collaboration keyboards! These boast an incredibly smooth feel with each keypress and are ideal for rapid inputs. If you’re looking for a keyboard that’s visually exciting but audibly quiet, these Cherry MX2A Red Linear switches are ideal for quiet, professional environments.
The OSRS keyboard is available anywhere that Starforge Systems ships for $169.99
A Tinker 75 is a great keyboard, but isn’t perfect for everyone. Some gamers need a number pad for their day job or macro keys for their favorite strategy games. To best serve those looking for their own custom experience, we’re proud to offer a complete keycap set. Whether you want a different set of switches or are happy with a 60% DIY keyboard from a previous purchase, we’re thrilled to make OSRS keycaps available in addition to the fully built keyboard. This set of 132 keycaps, are made with a dye-sublimation process meant to prevent wear, peeling and fading of colors. This is also what allows us to be so specific in the color of each key and their respective imagery.
But we’re not done yet! Masterfully crafted and exquisitely hand-painted, we’re thrilled to have partnered with Lethal Shadows for bespoke 3D-printed keycaps. Don’t let the fact that they’re mass-produced from a printer fool you, the original mold was created by hand and yielded an incredible final result. With future options to come, we’re excited to be offering the Zuk keycap as a standalone accessory. While the fight against this monster in game is challenging, these collectible keycaps are easy to fall in love with. Each of these is brought to life in Washington State, painted by hand. We here at Starforge remember a time when we were a small business, so the opportunity to partner with one that works with talented and passionate artists is too good to pass up.
*Please note that due to the nature of these keycaps, the Zuk keycap and all future 3D-printed keycaps are prone to wear and tear. Hand-painting each of these is a much different process from mass-produced keycaps meaning uneven discoloration or peeling over time is to be expected.
Zuk and each future keycap in this collection can be purchased individually for $59.99. We recognize this is a lot to ask for a single keycap, but the incredible amount of work that goes into each cannot be overstated and the end result is a truly one-of-a-kind product.
2026 is set to be a big year and with the launch of the OSRS keyboard, keycap set and artisanal line of individual, hand-painted keys Starforge will also be offering a new design for each of our Wall Art sizes and Platelight Acrylics. To celebrate the 25th Anniversary of OSRS, we’ve partnered with the incredible Bucket Cultist for a special set of artwork meant to commemorate this huge milestone! With how young PC gaming is as a genre, the fact that the World of RuneScape has been lived in and celebrated for two and a half decades is nothing short of extraordinary. We can’t think of a better way to relive some of our first memories as gamers than to bring an entire suite of products celebrating Old School RuneScape to market.

OSRS Pre-Order Bundle - $259.99
A sincere and humble ‘thank you’ to Ducky, Lethal Shadows and Bucket Cultist for making each aspect of this collaboration possible and eternal gratitude to Jagex and the team that’s been working on RuneScape for as long as they have. I’ve already bought one new keyboard to log in, but it might be time to get a second.
